RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 | The Glasshouse Garden
Sponsored by The Glasshouse Project Giving Back, The Glasshouse Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is designed by Jo Thompson, the only female designer at the show.
The garden is a celebration of The Glasshouse, a UK social enterprise offering second chances to women in custody as they approach the end of their prison sentences, through a programme of horticultural training, employment and resettlement support. The garden will be relocated to HMP Downview where it will become a space for horticultural training, therapy and planning for life after release.
It was my favourite Show Garden on Main Avenue this year. I l-o-v-e-d the romantic feel and jewel colour palette, with an abundance of stunning roses from David Austin and Peter Beales, several of which are listed below.
Rose Selection
Rosa ‘Alfred Colomb’ - fragrant, strawberry red shrub rose
Rosa ‘Nuits de Young’ - fragrant, maroon purple shrub rose
Rosa ‘Tuscany Superb’ - scented, deepest crimson purple shrub rose
Rosa ‘Wild Rover’ - dark magenta bush rose
Rosa ‘Tuscany Superb’ - fragrant magenta-red semi-double shrub rose
Rosa ‘Charles de Mills’ - fragrant, rich magenta red shrub rose
Rosa ‘Emma Bridgewater’ - lighly scented shrub rose with petals in coral-pink tones softening to mauve and lilac
